ZoneAppeal ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Who we are

ZoneAppeal is an independent information service operated by Secure Data Hygiene Ltd, registered in England and Wales. We are not affiliated with TfL, any local authority, the DVLA, or any government body.

What data we collect

When you submit our case check form, we collect:

• Your email address
• Your PCN reference number (optional)
• Your situation (the reason you believe your fine may be incorrect)
• Evidence status (what supporting documents you have)

We also collect anonymous analytics data through Google Analytics 4 (GA4), including pages visited, time on page, and general location (country/city level). We do not collect your name, home address, or payment details at any stage.

How we use your data

We use the information you submit solely to:

• Assess whether your case appears to have recognised appeal grounds
• Send you our eligibility assessment by email
• Follow up if you request further assistance

We do not sell, share, or pass your personal data to any third party, council, enforcement authority, or government body.

Data retention

Form submissions are retained in Formspree for up to 30 days and in our email records for up to 12 months. You can request deletion at any time by emailing support@zoneappeal.co.uk.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@zoneappeal.co.uk.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site. GA4 uses cookies to collect anonymous usage data. No personally identifiable information is shared with Google Analytics. You can opt out of GA tracking by using a browser extension such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.
